Hi, I’m Brigitte, a journalist and writer originally from Deniliquin, NSW.

I am a news reporter in the ABC's New England North West office and have worked across platforms to produce important content for our audience. 

 

I had the highest read digital article in the New England office in 2023, with over one million engagement minutes. I have produced state wide radio programs, covered crime, health, local politics, art and more.

I completed a Bachelor of Communications majoring in Journalism and minoring in Cinema Studies at RMIT University. Graduating in 2022 with distinction.

 

I completed a Diploma of Professional Writing and Editing at RMIT in 2019.

​

I have been an intern for ABC Central West, Ramona Magazine and Broad Radio in 2022. In 2021 I was an entertainment sub-editor for RMIT’s Swanston Gazette, helping writers create, edit and publish written work.
